Jungle Vision Collective’s values are to be as ethical and sustainable as possible. Right now, as a new business, we are not perfect. However, our arrow of intention is pointed at a target to be as kind, clean and reciprocal as possible. As we evolve and grow, so will the way we make our products. Some of our products are made from materials that one would call "sustainable ”, such as our hemp shirts, organic cotton tees and totes and recycled plastics swimwear range. However, it should be noted that the word ethical and sustainable are often used as greenwashing terms. We will not be taking part in this trend. We would also like to mention that we are educating ourselves around the best materials to use. We first think of organic cotton, bamboo, and recycled plastics as the best sustainable options, but we will share this… These materials are being used in greenwashing tactics to sell people ethical/sustainable materials. Did you know: BAMBOO Fabrics uses a lot of chemicals to be produced into clothing ORGANIC COTTON uses a lot more water in comparison to other materials RECYCLED PLASTICS return a significant amout of microplastics back into waterways when getting washed There is not a one-solution product. As we grow we will strive to be as Earth-Friendly as possible. Right now, we are not perfect and, to reiterate, our arrow is pointed towards creating a world where we are self-responsible and our actions match our values, honouring all life and the generations to come. However, as a small new business, we are not there yet. However, we aim to be as we grow and evolve. We continue to grow and evolve and are open to suggestions, educatiion, and for you to get in contact with us to share new technologies with us. We do our very best to give our customers the best quality. However, to make your clothing last and look beautiful and new for as long as possible, it is important to follow the care instructions as follows: FOR ALL-OVER PRINTED CLOTHING Wash in cold water (or follow the instructions on the tag if different) Hand wash (when specified on the tag) Do NOT use any bleach or harsh detergent products Do NOT use clothes dryer. Hang or lay flat to air dry Wash similar clothes together FOR ALL-OVER PRINT JUMPERS & HOODIES You not always need to wash your jumper or hoodie, or other clothing after one wear, especially a hoodie. We suggest the good ol' smell test to see if it actually needs washing, especially if you are wearing a tee underneath. Turn inside-out before washing. Wash in cold water Use a gentle cycle with a laundry detergent that preserves colour. Do NOT put in dryer. Hang to dry instead (this prevents shrinking and it lasting longer) Storing in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Use a storage clothing bag for extra protection. Warnings - Do NOT use bleach or harsh detergents.
